As the first two weeks of the new year come to a close, I can't believe how fast they went. I'm working hard on my new book which is due out this fall, and in my spare time I've been working with a few new sponsors on some fun giveaways and promotions that we'll be bringing to you later this month, so stay tuned for that.

Here on the farm we did see a few flakes of snow this past week and a bit of an ice storm, but our animals are handling it all just fine. I think the week's highlight for me was the debut of the new purple Heritage Ball Jars!  The days are getting a bit longer, but I'm still taking advantage of the early onset of darkness to spend my evenings relaxing with my knitting.
